Harp­er Con­struc­tion Co., Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being award­ed $36,735,202 for firm-fixed-price task order 0004 under a mul­ti­ple award con­struc­tion con­tract (N62473-10-D-5406) for con­struc­tion of the north air­craft main­te­nance hangar at Marine Corps Air Sta­tion Yuma. The work to be per­formed pro­vides for design and con­struc­tion of a new two-sto­ry F‑35 Joint Strike Fight­er com­pli­ant air­craft main­te­nance hangar includ­ing a high bay space, crew and equip­ment space, admin­is­tra­tive space and Spe­cial Access Pro­gram Facil­i­ty areas. The Spe­cial Access Pro­gram Facil­i­ty areas incor­po­rate the require­ments of the Auto­mat­ic Logis­tics Infor­ma­tion Sys­tem. The task order also con­tains a planned mod­i­fi­ca­tion, which if issued, would increase the cumu­la­tive task order val­ue to $38,568,348. Work will be per­formed in Yuma, Ariz., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Nine pro­pos­als were received for this task order. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, South­west, San Diego, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activity.

IAP-Hill, L.L.C., Cape Canaver­al, Fla., is being award­ed a $13,315,591 mod­i­fi­ca­tion under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N69450-10-D-5073) to exer­cise option three for base oper­at­ing sup­port ser­vices at Naval Air Sta­tion, Jack­sonville; Naval Sta­tion, May­port; Bureau of Med­i­cine and Surgery, Jack­sonville; and Blount Island Com­mand, Jack­sonville. The work pro­vides ser­vices includ­ing, but not lim­it­ed to, the fol­low­ing func­tions: port oper­a­tions, base sup­port vehi­cles and equip­ment, ele­va­tor main­te­nance, equip­ment main­te­nance, util­i­ties, envi­ron­men­tal, trans­porta­tion, bach­e­lor hous­ing, fire alarms, waste­water, steam, facil­i­ty man­age­ment, and pro­vides ser­vice calls con­sist­ing of repairs of base facil­i­ties, util­i­ties, trans­porta­tion and fire alarm sys­tems. Con­tract funds in the amount of $8,068,030 will be oblig­at­ed at time of award. The total con­tract amount after exer­cise of this option will be $90,977,714. Work will be per­formed in Jack­sonville, Fla. and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $4,878,712 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, South­east, Jack­sonville, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activity.
