USAUS Military contracts for FY12

U.S. TRANSPORTATION COMMAND

U.S. Trans­porta­tion Com­mand is mod­i­fy­ing con­tracts with Maer­sk Line, Ltd., Nor­folk, Va. (face val­ue of $99,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0040); Amer­i­can Pres­i­dent Lines, Ltd., Inc., Scotts­dale, Ariz. (face val­ue of $74,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0028); Far­rell Lines, Inc., Nor­folk, Va. (face val­ue of $22,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0034) ; Amer­i­can Roll-on, Amer­i­can Roll-off Car­ri­er, L.L.C., Park Ridge, N.J. (face val­ue of $20,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0029); Lib­er­ty Glob­al Logis­tics, L.L.C., Lake Suc­cess, N.Y. (face val­ue of $14,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0039); and Hapag-Lloyd USA, L.L.C., Tam­pa, Fla. (face val­ue of $13,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09- D‑0036). These mod­i­fi­ca­tions will extend the peri­od of per­for­mance under the Uni­ver­sal Ser­vices Contract‑6 Pro­gram for an addi­tion­al 45 days, July 1, 2012, to Aug. 14, 2012. These con­tracts pro­vide ocean and inter­modal dis­tri­b­u­tion ser­vices world­wide. Funds are only oblig­at­ed upon car­go book­ings, and the amounts above are only an esti­mate to cov­er the 45-day exten­sion, as need­ed. U.S. Trans­porta­tion Com­mand, Direc­torate of Acqui­si­tion, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

NAVY

The Boe­ing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being award­ed $30,899,277 for firm-fixed-price deliv­ery order 0008 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed per­for­mance-based logis­tics con­tract (N00383-07-D-001J) for the repair of var­i­ous parts sup­port­ing the AV‑8 air­craft. Work will be per­formed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 6, 2014. The applic­a­ble 2012 Navy Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The NAVSSUP Weapon Sys­tems Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Lock­heed Mar­tin Aero­nau­tics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $24,138,848 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-reim­burse­ment con­tract (N00019-02-C-3002) for the devel­op­ment of a data farm for the Joint Strike Fight­er U.S. Repro­gram­ming Lab­o­ra­to­ry to be locat­ed at Eglin Air Force Base. The data farm will inter­face with lab’s prime mis­sion equip­ment and is used to store soft­ware and data from the F‑35 mis­sion data test­ing. The abil­i­ty to store and retrieve data is crit­i­cal for mis­sion data pro­duc­tion which is vital to pro­gram exe­cu­tion. Work will be per­formed at Fort Worth, Texas (95 per­cent), and Orlan­do, Fla. (5 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Novem­ber 2014. Con­tract funds are not being oblig­at­ed at time of award and will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

IAP World­wide Ser­vices, Inc., Cape Canaver­al, Fla., is being award­ed a $10,324,398 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for util­i­ties base oper­a­tions sup­port ser­vices at Naval Sta­tion Guan­tanamo Bay. The util­i­ties base oper­a­tions sup­port ser­vices are for facil­i­ty invest­ment, util­i­ties and oth­er (elec­tri­cal, waste­water, and water). Con­tract funds in the amount of $5,946,115 will be oblig­at­ed at time of award. This con­tract con­tains four option peri­ods, which, if exer­cised, will bring the max­i­mum dol­lar val­ue of the con­tract to $29,473,586. Work will be per­formed in Guan­tanamo Bay, Cuba, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 2013. Con­tract funds in the amount $547,255 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via the Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online web­site, with two pro­pos­als received. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, South­east, Jack­sonville, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N69450-12-D-7580).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tyco Fire Prod­ucts, L.P., Marinette, Wis., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the third option year on con­tract SPM8EH-08-D-0251/P00007. The award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $24,310,822 for the pro­cure­ment of aque­ous film form­ing foam fire extin­guish­ing liq­uid. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. There were three respons­es to the Web solic­i­ta­tion. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is April 9, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Impe­r­i­al Sales Co.*, Wat­sonville, Calif., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the first option year on con­tract SPM3S1-11-D-Z188/P00001. The award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $8,121,565 for uni­tized group ration com­po­nents. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Marine Corps and Army. There were two respons­es to the Web solic­i­ta­tion. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is March 10, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

AIR FORCE

The Boe­ing Co., Seal, Beach, Calif., is being award­ed a $14,462,422, cost-plus-award-fee con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion to the exist­ing Boe­ing IFF con­tract for the Glob­al Posi­tion Sys­tem. This con­tract action will pro­vide fis­cal 2012 fund­ing for two space vehi­cle con­tract line item num­bers, to include launch oper­a­tions sup­port and on-orbit oper­a­tions sup­port. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Seal Beach, Calif. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Dec. 31, 2012. Space and Mis­sile Sys­tems Cen­ter, Los Ange­les Air Force Base, El Segun­do, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (F04701-96-C-0025; P00842).
