     Ameri­qual Group, L.L.C., Evans­ville, Ind., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract with a max­i­mum $2,453,387,100 for Meal, Ready-to-Eat and human­i­tar­i­an dai­ly ration cas­es. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance.  Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. There were three solic­i­ta­tions with three respons­es. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Novem­ber 2016. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM3S1-12-D-Z107).

AIR FORCE

     Lock­heed Mar­tin Space Sys­tems Co., Sun­ny­vale, Calif., is being award­ed a $60,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-award-fee con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion for the Space Vehi­cle (SV) 5/6 long lead in prepa­ra­tion for the SV 5/6 pro­duc­tion con­tract. The Space and Mis­sile Sys­tems Cen­ter, Mil­i­tary Satel­lite Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Sys­tems Direc­torate, El Segun­do, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (F04701-02-C-002, Mod­i­fi­ca­tion No. P00525). 

NAVY

     Lock­heed Mar­tin, Mis­sion Sys­tems and Sen­sors, Moorestown, N.J., is being award­ed a $21,036,485 cost-plus-fixed-fee with per­for­mance incen­tives, cost-plus-award-fee, and cost-plus-fixed-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-09-C-5103) to exer­cise options for pro­cure­ment of fis­cal 2012 Aegis plat­form sys­tems engi­neer­ing agent activ­i­ties and Aegis mod­ern­iza­tion advanced capa­bil­i­ty build engi­neer­ing for CG 57 and DDG 51 class ships. The plat­form sys­tems engi­neer­ing agent man­ages the in-ser­vice com­bat sys­tems con­fig­u­ra­tions, as well as the inte­gra­tion of new or upgrad­ed capa­bil­i­ty into CG 57 and DDG 51 class ships. Work will be per­formed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Decem­ber 2012. Funds in the amount of $7,536,485 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY 

     The Mis­sile Defense Agency is announc­ing the award of a cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion (P00049) to exer­cise an option to The Boe­ing Co., Huntsville, Ala., under con­tract HQ0147-09-C-0007. The total val­ue of this option exer­cise is $36,686,541, increas­ing the total con­tract val­ue from $692,900,701 to $729,587,242.Under this mod­i­fi­ca­tion, the con­trac­tor will man­age the Ground-Based Mid­course Defense (GMD) weapon sys­tem sus­tain­ment and oper­a­tions sup­port to include sys­tem sus­tain­ment, train­ing, and oper­a­tions sup­port of the GMD mis­sion assets. The work will be per­formed in Fort Greely, Alas­ka; Van­den­berg Air Force Base, Calif.; Col­orado Springs, Colo.; and Huntsville, Ala. The per­for­mance peri­od is from Dec. 1, 2011 through Feb. 29, 2012. Fis­cal 2012 research, devel­op­ment, test and eval­u­a­tion funds will be used to incre­men­tal­ly fund this ini­tial effort. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Mis­sile Defense Agency, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activity.
