NAVY
The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $1,377,823,556 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price-incentive contract (N00019-09-C-0022) to procure seven P‑8A Multi-Mission Maritime Low Rate Initial Production II aircraft. Work will be performed in Chicago, Ill. (21.9 percent); Greenlawn, N.Y. (12.3 percent); Puget Sound, Wash. (11.5 percent); Dallas, Texas (6.6 percent); North Amityville, N.Y. (5.8 percent); Cambridge, United Kingdom (4.8 percent); and various locations in and outside the continental United States (37.1 percent). The work is expected to be completed in January 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
The Computer Sciences Corp., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $30,562,096 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for services in support of the Fleet Cyber Forces’ operation and maintenance of the Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET) outside the continental United States. The major functional areas of ONE-Net support include theater service desk support; network and systems operations; field support; information assurance; and network technical support. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the contract value to $144,674,426. Work will be performed in Yokosuka, Japan (22 percent); Naples, Italy (19 percent); Kingdom of Bahrain (15 percent); Guam (9 percent); Atsugi, Japan (8 percent); Sigonella, Italy (6 percent); Sasebo, Japan (5 percent); Rota, Spain (4 percent); Okinawa, Japan (3 percent); Korea (2 percent); Misawa, Japan (2 percent); Soudan Bay, Greece (2 percent); Diego Garcia (2 percent); and Singapore (1 percent). Work is expected to be completed Nov. 30, 2012. With options exercised, completion date will continue to Nov 30, 2016. Funding in the amount of $1,000,000.00 has been provided for the minimum guarantee. Fiscal 2012 Operations and Maintenance, Navy funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Interocean American Shipping Corp., Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $28,189,899 firm-fixed-price contract for the operation and maintenance of the Sea-Based X‑Band Radar platform (SBX‑1). SBX‑1 will be deployed to the Pacific Ocean to provide ballistic missile-tracking information to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense System (GMD). SBX‑1 will also provide advanced target and countermeasures discrimination capability for the GMD interceptor missiles. This contract includes four one-year option periods, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $165,204,573. Work will be performed at sea, and is expected to be completed by September 2012. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via solicitations posted to Military Sealift Command, Navy Electronic Commerce Online, and Federal Business Opportunities websites, with more than 100 companies having access to the solicitation, with five offers received.
