USAUS Military contracts for FY11

AIR FORCE

     Jacobs Tech­nol­o­gy, Inc., Tul­la­homa, Tenn., is being award­ed an esti­mat­ed $135,500,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for the Tech­ni­cal and Engi­neer­ing Acqui­si­tion Sup­port Pro­gram, pro­vid­ing a wide range of diverse, high-qual­i­ty engi­neer­ing, tech­ni­cal, and acqui­si­tion sup­port required for devel­op­ment, pro­duc­tion, and sus­tain­ment of var­i­ous high­ly com­plex muni­tions sys­tems with­in the Air Arma­ment Cen­ter and oth­er orga­ni­za­tions at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. This effort sup­ports For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales pro­grams to Aus­tralia, India, Turkey, Greece, Repub­lic of Korea, Tai­wan, Israel, Sau­di Ara­bia, Moroc­co, Ger­many, France, Poland, Swe­den, Nor­way, the Nether­lands, the Unit­ed King­dom, Chili, Malaysia, and Sin­ga­pore (2.7 per­cent). Air Arma­ment Center/PKES, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA9200-12-D-0085).

NAVY

     L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Corp., doing busi­ness as L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Inte­grat­ed Sys­tems — Waco Plat­form Inte­gra­tion Divi­sion, Waco, Texas, is being award­ed a $112,995,124 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N00019-11-D-0017) to exer­cise an option for ser­vices in sup­port of the P‑3, EP‑3, and NP‑3 Sus­tain­ment Mod­i­fi­ca­tion and Instal­la­tion Pro­gram. This effort includes planned main­te­nance inter­val, struc­tur­al replace­ment and fab­ri­ca­tion efforts per­tain­ing to spe­cial struc­tur­al inspec­tion kits, cen­ter wing assem­blies, zone five kits, and out­er wing instal­la­tions and refur­bish­ments. Work will be per­formed in Waco, Texas, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Octo­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $5,630,837 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

     Cana­di­an Com­mer­cial Corp., Gen­er­al Dynam­ics Land Sys­tems — Cana­da, Ontario, Cana­da, is being award­ed a $28,564,747 firm-fixed-priced mod­i­fi­ca­tion under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5028) for 425 spall lin­er kits and 295 win­dow retro­fit kits for Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed vehi­cles. Work will be per­formed in Waltham, Mass (88 per­cent), and Sel­ma, Ala. (12 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed July 2012. Fis­cal 2011 oth­er pro­cure­ment appro­pri­a­tion funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

     Man­Tech Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing Corp., Fair­fax, Va., is being award­ed an $11,177,725 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-plus-fixed-fee, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N00421-11-D-0027) to exer­cise an option for engi­neer­ing and tech­ni­cal sup­port for reli­a­bil­i­ty, main­tain­abil­i­ty, testa­bil­i­ty, qual­i­ty assur­ance, and diag­nos­tic and sys­tem safe­ty analy­sis dur­ing the design, devel­op­ment, pro­duc­tion and in-ser­vice life cycles of all naval air­craft plat­forms and their sys­tems. Funds will not be oblig­at­ed at time of award. Work will be per­formed in Patux­ent Riv­er, Md. (90 per­cent), Chi­na Lake, Calif. (5 per­cent), and Lake­hurst, N.J. (5 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Octo­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY 

     Den­nis K. Burke, Inc.*, Chelsea, Mass., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion on the cur­rent con­tract SP0600-11-D-8521/P00004. Award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $25,409,268 for fuel. Oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance are Con­necti­cut, Maine, Mass­a­chu­setts, New Hamp­shire, New York, Rhode Island, and Ver­mont. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is April 30, 2014. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Ener­gy, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

     Bell Heli­copter Tex­tron, Inc., Hurst, Texas, was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract for a max­i­mum $6,675,000 for trans­mis­sion assem­blies. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Army. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Nov. 30, 2015. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Avi­a­tion, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-06-G-0003/ZB63).
