USAUS Military contracts for FY11

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY 

 Hen­ry Schein Inc., Melville, N.Y., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the sec­ond option year on the cur­rent con­tract SPM2DE-09-D-7444/P00004. Award is a fixed price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite deliv­ery and indef­i­nite quan­ti­ty con­tract with a max­i­mum $172,800,000 for dis­tri­b­u­tion of a wide range of gen­er­al den­tal sup­plies. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 30, 2012. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa.

 Sea Box Inc., Cin­namin­son, N.J.,* was award­ed con­tract SPRDL1-11-D-0046. The award is a firm fixed price, indef­i­nite deliv­ery and indef­i­nite quan­ti­ty con­tract for a max­i­mum $12,407,984 for var­i­ous types of ship­ping and stor­age con­tain­ers. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Hills­bor­ough, New Jer­sey. Using ser­vice is Army. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 10, 2012. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Land, War­ren, Mich. 

 Charleston Marine Con­tain­ers, North Charleston, S.C., was award­ed con­tract SPRDL1-11-D-0047. The award is a firm fixed price, indef­i­nite deliv­ery and indef­i­nite quan­ti­ty con­tract for a max­i­mum $12,407,984 for var­i­ous types of ship­ping and stor­age con­tain­ers. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Army. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 10, 2012. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Land, War­ren, Mich. 

 Hon­ey­well Inter­na­tion­al Inc., Clear­wa­ter, Fl., was award­ed con­tract SPRRA2-11-D-0032. The award is a fixed price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract for a max­i­mum $9,315,925 for field artillery bat­tal­ion sur­vey­ing set. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Army. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 6, 2016. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Avi­a­tion, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala. 

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY CONTRACT 

The Mis­sile Defense Agency (MDA) is announc­ing the award of a sole source cost-plus-award-fee/­cost-plus-fixed-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to Lock­heed Mar­tin Mis­sion Sys­tems and Sen­sors, Moorestown, New Jer­sey, under the HQ0276-10-C-0003 con­tract, P00019. The total val­ue of this mod­i­fi­ca­tion is $115,508,368, increas­ing the total con­tract val­ue from $61,187,171 to $176,695,539. This mod­i­fi­ca­tion accounts for the award of con­tract line item num­ber (CLIN) 0001 for con­tin­ued Aegis Ashore Com­bat Sys­tem adap­ta­tion efforts, site plan­ning, trans­porta­tion plan­ning, tech­nol­o­gy ini­tia­tives and stud­ies. To sup­port the efforts under CLIN 0001, this mod­i­fi­ca­tion also increas­es CLINs 0011 (mate­r­i­al) and 0012 (trav­el). The work will be per­formed in Moorestown, New Jer­sey. The per­for­mance peri­od is through Sept. 30, 2012. Fis­cal year 2011 research, devel­op­ment, test and eval­u­a­tion funds will be used to incre­men­tal­ly fund this effort. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This is not a For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales acqui­si­tion. The MDA, Dahlgren, Vir­ginia, is the con­tract­ing activity. 

NAVY

 Integri­ty Con­sult­ing Solu­tions LLC*, Fred­er­ick, Md. (N62583-09-D-0164); Pre­vailance, Inc.*, Vir­ginia Beach, Va. (N62583-09-D-0165); Quin­tech Secu­ri­ty Con­sul­tants, Inc.*, Sum­merville, S.C. (N62583-09-D-0167); Risk Man­age­ment Asso­ciates, Inc.*, Raleigh, N.C. (N62583-09-D-0168); and Trin­i­ty Applied Strate­gies Cor­po­ra­tion*, Alexan­dria, Va. (N62583-09-D-0169) are being award­ed option year two under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price mul­ti­ple award con­tract for anti-ter­ror­ism task force pro­tec­tion at Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Engi­neer­ing Ser­vice Cen­ter, Port Huen­eme. The work to be per­formed pro­vides for engi­neer­ing ser­vices relat­ed to per­form­ing quan­ti­ta­tive vul­ner­a­bil­i­ty and risk assess­ments used to assess ter­ror­ist and oth­er crim­i­nal threats and oth­er anti-ter­ror­ism relat­ed stud­ies includ­ing the devel­op­ment of new and inno­v­a­tive secu­ri­ty coun­ter­mea­sures to mit­i­gate those vul­ner­a­bil­i­ties and to con­duct anti-ter­ror­ism train­ing through­out the con­ti­nen­tal Unit­ed States and its ter­ri­to­ries. The com­bined total val­ue for all five con­trac­tors is $31,450,000. The total con­tract amount after exer­cise of this option will be $82,075,000. No task orders are being issued at this time. Work will be per­formed through­out the con­ti­nen­tal Unit­ed States and its ter­ri­to­ries, and work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Sept. 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Spe­cial­ty Cen­ter Acqui­si­tions, Port Huen­eme, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

AAR Air­lift Group, Inc., Palm Bay, Fla., is being award­ed a $15,464,426 firm-fixed-price con­tract for ship-based and/or ver­ti­cal replen­ish­ment ser­vices in sup­port of Com­man­der, U.S. Pacif­ic Fleet. AAR Air­lift Group, Inc., will pro­vide heli­copters, per­son­nel, and oper­a­tional and tech­ni­cal sup­port ser­vices in the West­ern Pacif­ic and Indi­an Oceans and the Ara­bi­an Gulf. This con­tract includes three 12-month options peri­ods and one 11-month option peri­od, which if exer­cised, would bring the cumu­la­tive val­ue of this con­tract to $76,887,580. Work will be per­formed in the West­ern Pacif­ic and Indi­an Oceans and the Ara­bi­an Gulf, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2012. If all option peri­ods are exer­cised the com­ple­tion date will be by August 2016. Con­tract funds are sub­ject to avail­abil­i­ty of fis­cal year 2012 fund­ing, and funds will expire at the end of that fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via solic­i­ta­tions post­ed to Mil­i­tary Sealift Com­mand, Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online and Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­sites, with more than 50 com­pa­nies solicit­ed and four offers received. The Mil­i­tary Sealift Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00033-11-C-1003).

BAE Sys­tems, Nor­folk Ship Repair, Nor­folk, Va., is being award­ed a $14,074,420 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to con­tract (N00024-11-C-4403) for the USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) fis­cal year 2012 Extend­ed Select­ed Restrict­ed Avail­abil­i­ty (ESRA). An ESRA includes the plan­ning and exe­cu­tion of depot-lev­el main­te­nance, alter­ations, and mod­i­fi­ca­tions that will update and improve the ship’s mil­i­tary and tech­ni­cal capa­bil­i­ties. Work will be per­formed in Nor­folk, Va., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Novem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $14,074,420 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Nor­folk Ship Sup­port Activ­i­ty, Portsmouth, Va., is the con­tract activity. 

PSI Sier­ra, LLC*, Cal­i­for­nia, Md., is being award­ed a $9,479,842 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract (N00421-08-D-0006) to exer­cise an option for tech­ni­cal ser­vices in sup­port of the Infor­ma­tion Technology/Information Man­age­ment Depart­ment at Naval Air Sys­tems Command/Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, MD. The ser­vices to be pro­vid­ed include: video tech­nol­o­gy sup­port, Nation­al Help Desk sup­port, Navy Marine Corps Intranet Cus­tomer Tech­ni­cal Rep­re­sen­ta­tive sup­port. The esti­mat­ed lev­el of effort for this option year is 167,040 man-hours. Con­tract funds are not being oblig­at­ed at time of award. Work will be per­formed at the Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

AIR FORCE

 Alion Sci­ence and Tech­nol­o­gy Cor­po­ra­tion of Chica­go, Ill. is being award­ed a $28,028,060 cost plus fixed fee, indef­i­nite deliv­ery, require­ments con­tract to devel­op, imple­ment, improve and exe­cute new and exist­ing meth­ods and prac­tices in sys­tems archi­tect­ing, sys­tems engi­neer­ing method­olo­gies and tools, sys­tems inte­gra­tion. Alion will also devel­op research exper­tise in sys­tems engi­neer­ing and archi­tect­ing, and pro­vide engi­neer­ing research, test­ing, devel­op­ment, infor­ma­tion analy­sis and exper­tise in all aspects of pro­gram coor­di­na­tion and guid­ance process for Arma­ment Research, Devel­op­ment and Engi­neer­ing Cen­ter direc­torates. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is ESG/PKS, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. (SP0700-99-D-0301, Deliv­ery Order 0209). 

 Alion Sci­ence and Tech­nol­o­gy Cor­po­ra­tion of Chica­go, Ill. Is being award­ed a $24,196,434 cost plus, fixed fee, indef­i­nite deliv­ery, require­ments con­tract to col­lect, inte­grate, test, field and sus­tain promis­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion tech­nolo­gies and capa­bil­i­ties that sup­port SSC Pacif­ic Unit­ed States Marine Corp’s com­mand con­trol com­mu­ni­ca­tion on-the-move for Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed com­bat vehi­cles and oth­er joint ser­vice sys­tems such as Com­mand and Con­trol Per­son­al Com­put­ing, Com­mand Post of the Future, and Advanced Field Artillery Tac­ti­cal Data Sys­tems. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is ESG/PKS, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. (SP0700-99-D-0301, Deliv­ery Order 0212).
