USAUS Military contracts for FY11

AIR FORCE

Boe­ing Co., S&IS Mis­sion Sys­tems, Spring­field, Va., is being award­ed an $14,370,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract to con­tin­ue sus­tain­ment of the Com­bat Track II (CTII) sus­tain­ment and sup­port sys­tems which include, but not lim­it­ed to, deploy­ments world­wide con­duct­ing site sur­veys; instal­la­tions and inte­gra­tion; assem­bly and test; oper­a­tor and main­tain­er train­ing; software/hardware mod­i­fi­ca­tions; sys­tem inte­gra­tion and retro­fits; and sys­tem per­for­mance assess­ments. It will also equip CTII units with a pro­gram­ma­ble Sier­ra II chip. At this point, $2,117,971 has been oblig­at­ed. Work will be per­formed in Chan­til­ly, Va. The Elec­tron­ic Sys­tems Cen­ter, ESC/HSJK, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8707-11-D-0002).

ARMY

The Boe­ing Co„ Mesa, Ariz., was award­ed on April 22 a $10,061,586 firm-fixed-price indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the main­te­nance and over­haul of the main trans­mis­sion. Work will be per­formed in Mesa, Ariz., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of April 30, 2016. Three bids were solicit­ed with three bids received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-11-D-0153).
