USAUS Military contracts for FY11

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Siemens Med­ical Solu­tions, USA, Inc., Malvern, Pa., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the sec­ond option year on cur­rent con­tract SPM2D1-09-D-8314/P00037. Award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment type with a max­i­mum $267,000,000 pro­vid­ing the radi­ol­o­gy sys­tems equip­ment. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is March 31, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

Cruz Asso­ciates, Inc., York­town, Va., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $47,000,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for spe­cial­ized tech­ni­cal ser­vices. The con­tract will pro­vide pro­fes­sion­al ana­lyt­i­cal, tech­nol­o­gy, and logis­tics ser­vices to sup­port mod­ern­iza­tion and sus­tain­ment of select­ed air­craft and asso­ci­at­ed mis­sion equip­ment. The result­ing con­tract will pro­vide non-per­son­al con­trac­tor sup­port ser­vices in sup­port of the Sys­tems Inte­gra­tion and Main­te­nance Office, 160th Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Avi­a­tion Reg­i­ment (Air­borne). The work will be per­formed in Fort Camp­bell, Ky. This con­tract per­for­mance peri­od ends March 31, 2016. This con­tract was award­ed through a com­pet­i­tive small busi­ness set-aside. U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (H92241-11-D-0003).

NAVY

The Boe­ing Co., Hunt­ing­ton Beach, Calif., is being award­ed a $31,087,443 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus incen­tive con­tract for TRIDENT II (D5) main­te­nance, repair, and rebuild­ing in sup­port of nav­i­ga­tion equip­ment. This con­tract con­tains options which, if exer­cised, will bring the total con­tract val­ue to $64,160,867. Work will be per­formed in Hunt­ing­ton Beach, Calif. (89 per­cent), and Heath, Ohio (11 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Sept. 30, 2014. Con­tract funds in the amount of $16,069,864 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. Strate­gic Sys­tems Pro­grams, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00030-11-C-0002).

Man­Tech Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing Corp., Fair­fax, Va., is being award­ed a $17,573,244 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N00421-08-D-0008) to exer­cise an option for the pro­cure­ment of war­fare analy­sis, mod­el­ing and sim­u­la­tion, soft­ware devel­op­ment, and ana­lyt­ic pro­gram sup­port for the Naval Air Sys­tems Command’s War­fare Analy­sis and Inte­gra­tion Depart­ment. Work will be per­formed in Patux­ent Riv­er, Md. (85 per­cent), and Lex­ing­ton Park, Md. (15 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in March 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Raytheon Mis­sile Sys­tems Co., Tuc­son, Ariz., is being award­ed $14,842,200 for deliv­ery order #0035 under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed fixed-price require­ments con­tract (N00104-06-D-L007) for per­for­mance-based logis­tics sup­port for the Pha­lanx Close-In weapons sys­tem. Work will be per­formed in Louisville, Ky., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by August 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire before the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This effort includes the gov­ern­ments of Aus­tralia, Unit­ed King­dom, New Zealand, Japan, Poland, and Bahrain under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Naval Inven­to­ry Con­trol Point, Mechan­ics­burg, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Gen­er­al Elec­tric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being award­ed a $9,949,990 firm-fixed-price deliv­ery order against a pre­vi­ous­ly issued basic order­ing agree­ment (N00019-10-G-0007) for the pro­cure­ment of 59 PPC109 kits for the Engine Reli­a­bil­i­ty Improve­ment Pro­gram in sup­port of the CH-53 Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Lynn, Mass. (87 per­cent), and Madis­onville, Ky. (13 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in March 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Arri­ba Corp.*, Nor­folk, Va., is being award­ed a $7,384,850 for firm-fixed-price task order #0003 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed mul­ti­ple award con­struc­tion con­tract (N40080-10-D-0495) for riv­er water pipe repair work at Build­ings 100A, 100, and 1580, and var­i­ous areas at Naval Sup­port Facil­i­ty (NSF), Indi­an Head, Md. The work to be per­formed pro­vides for the design and con­struc­tion repairs of an exist­ing pump house, strain­er facil­i­ty, and approx­i­mate­ly 4.5 miles of pip­ing for the riv­er water dis­tri­b­u­tion sys­tem. These repairs are required to pro­vide riv­er water to the base-wide fire sup­pres­sion sys­tem and for steam pro­duc­tion at NSF Indi­an Head’s God­dard Pow­er Plant. Award includes options which pro­vide for the replace­ment of six addi­tion­al riv­er water pipe loca­tions. Work will be per­formed in Indi­an Head, Md., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Feb­ru­ary 2014. Con­tract funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Five pro­pos­als were received for this task order. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Gen­er­al Dynam­ics, Elec­tric Boat Corp., Gro­ton, Conn., is being award­ed a $6,587,439 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed basic order­ing agree­ment (N00024-10-G-4314) to sup­port repair work at Nor­folk Naval Ship­yard on USS Eisen­how­er (CVN 69), USS Nor­folk (SSN 714), and USS West Vir­ginia (SSBN 736). The con­trac­tor will pro­vide var­i­ous trade ser­vices sup­port includ­ing pipe fit­ters, radi­a­tion tech­ni­cians, a marine chemist and pipe welders to aug­ment the Nor­folk Naval Ship­yard work­force. Work will be per­formed in Nor­folk, Va., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Sep­tem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds in the amount of $6,587,439 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton Navy Yard, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity.
