MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

This is a con­tract award notice for the Mis­sile Defense Agency’s Inter­me­di­ate Range Bal­lis­tic Mis­sile Tar­get class to Orbital Sci­ences Corp. This award is for the man­u­fac­ture of inter­me­di­ate range bal­lis­tic mis­sile tar­gets, asso­ci­at­ed objects, and inte­grat­ed logis­tics sup­port to include inven­to­ry stor­age and main­te­nance man­age­ment, pre- and post-mis­sion analy­sis, launch prepa­ra­tion and exe­cu­tion, engi­neer­ing ser­vices, and mod­el­ing and sim­u­la­tion sup­port. The award is for com­plete “tip to tail” tar­gets under con­tract num­ber HQ0147-11-C-0006. The con­tract will be firm-fixed-price with pro­vi­sions for fixed-price incen­tive, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-incen­tive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-reim­burse­ment. The total val­ue of the con­tract is $1,100,000,000 if all options are exer­cised. The total val­ue of the base award is $217,080,944. The total con­tract peri­od of per­for­mance is from March 2011 to Jan­u­ary 2018. Major sub­con­trac­tors for this effort are Hon­ey­well and ATK Aero­space Sys­tems Group.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Agfn Health­care, Ridge­field Park, N.J., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $120,000,000 fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract for dig­i­tal imag­ing net­work-pic­ture archive com­mu­ni­ca­tion sys­tem. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. The max­i­mum dol­lar amount is for base year only. The orig­i­nal pro­pos­al was Web-solicit­ed with 10 respons­es. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is March 7, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2D1-11-D-8303).

Wein­bren­ner Shoe Co.*, Mer­rill, Wis., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $9,819,429 firm-fixed-price con­tract for steel toe, hot weath­er boots. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. The orig­i­nal pro­pos­al was Web-solicit­ed with one response. This con­tract is exer­cis­ing the fourth option year. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is March 7, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM1C1-08-D-1040).

Elwyn Indus­tries, Aston, Pa., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $7,525,935 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for ban­dages. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Delaware. Using ser­vice is depot stock. This con­tract has a base year with four one-year option peri­ods. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is March 8, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2DS-11-D-N001).

AIR FORCE

Jacobs Tech­nol­o­gy, Inc., Tul­la­homa, Tenn., is being award­ed a $52,097,264 cost-plus-award-fee, cost-reim­burse­ment, firm-fixed-price con­tract for acquir­ing three years basic, and one two-year option, of con­trac­tor sup­port to pro­vide oper­a­tional sup­port required by the Air Force Research Lab­o­ra­to­ry for design, con­struc­tion, recon­fig­u­ra­tion, mod­i­fi­ca­tion, test oper­a­tions and main­te­nance of exper­i­men­tal and sup­port facil­i­ties used to per­form research and devel­op­ment of rock­et propul­sion, space sys­tems and their com­po­nents under the Research Oper­a­tions Sup­port Ser­vices Con­tract. Work will be per­formed the Air Force Research Lab­o­ra­to­ry at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. Con­tract funds in the amount of $1,659,232 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Bids were solicit­ed elec­tron­i­cal­ly and one was received. AFFTC/PKTB, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA9300-11-C-0001).

NAVY

BAE Sys­tems Nor­folk Ship Repair, Inc., Nor­folk, Va., is being award­ed a $15,974,662 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-11-C-2314) to exer­cise options for the USS Grave­ly (DDG 107) post shake­down avail­abil­i­ty. Work will be per­formed in Nor­folk, Va., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Sep­tem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds in the amount of $3,194,932 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity.
