Aero­space Test­ing Alliance, of Tul­la­homa, Ten­nessee was award­ed a $64,575,788 con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion for the fis­cal 11 con­tract for the oper­a­tion, main­te­nance, infor­ma­tion man­age­ment and sup­port of Arnold Engi­neer­ing Devel­op­ment Cen­ter. ARMY

Hon­ey­well Inter­na­tion­al, Inc., Are­o­space, Phoenix, Ariz., was award­ed a $43,726,990 firm-fixed-price con­tract Feb. 14, 2011. The award will pro­vide for 50 T55-GA-714A engines and 30 T55-GA-714A engine field­ing kits. Work will be per­formed in Phoenix, Ariz., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Dec. 31, 2013. One bid was solicit­ed with one bid received. The U.S. Army Avi­a­tion and Mis­sile Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-04-C-0061).

LORD Cor­po­ra­tion, Erie, Pa., was award­ed a $13,152,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract Feb. 14, 2011. The award will pro­vide for, at least, 2,400 UH-60 Black Hawk heli­copters. Work will be per­formed in Erie, Penn., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 31, 2016. Two bids were solicit­ed with two bids received. The U.S. Army Avi­a­tion and Mis­sile Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-11-D-0108).

DRS Tech­ni­cal Ser­vices, Inc., Hern­don, Va., was award­ed a $12,100,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract Feb. 14, 2011. The award will pro­vide for 10,000 VHF hand­held radios, 10,000 VHF hand­held radio acces­sories, 5,000 VHF mobile radios and 5,000 VHF mobile radio acces­sories. Work will be per­formed in Afghanistan, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of April 21, 2011. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net with 21 bids received. The Kab­ul Region­al Con­tract­ing Cen­ter, Cole House Con­tract­ing, Kab­ul, Afghanistan, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W91B4M-11-C-4018).

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Com­pa­ny, LLC, Oak­brook, Ill., was award­ed a $7,787,700 firm-fixed-price con­tract Feb. 14, 2011. The award will pro­vide for the dredg­ing of the Mis­sis­sip­pi River’s South­west Pass area. Work will be per­formed in Plaque­m­ines Parish, La., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 14, 2011. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net with one bid received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, New Orleans, La., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W912P8-11-C-0031).

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Tuc­son, Ariz., is being award­ed a $23,317,060 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-09-C-0007) to exer­cise an option for the pro­cure­ment of 64 Fis­cal Year 2011 Tom­a­hawk Com­pos­ite Cap­sule Launch­ing Sys­tem (CCLS) Cap­sules. The work will be per­formed in Lin­coln, Neb. (31.5 per­cent); Cam­den, Ark. (28.8 per­cent); Tuc­son, Ariz. (7.2 per­cent); Joplin, Mo. (7 per­cent); Car­pen­tersville, Ill (4.9 per­cent); Rock­et Cen­ter, W.V. (4.7 per­cent); Hop­kin­ton, Mass. (3.9 per­cent); Huntsville, Ala. (2 per­cent); Tor­rance, Calif. (1.5 per­cent), Los Alami­tos, Calif. (1 per­cent), and var­i­ous loca­tions through­out the Unit­ed States (7.5 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md. is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Syg­nos, Inc.*, San Diego, Calif., is being award­ed a $15,000,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery, indef­i­nite-quan­ti­ty job order con­tract for repair, main­te­nance, alter­ation and minor con­struc­tion of var­i­ous facil­i­ties at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendle­ton and Naval Weapons Sta­tion, Fall­brook. Work will be per­formed in Ocean­side and Fall­brook, Calif. The term of the con­tract is not to exceed 60 months with an expect­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 2016. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via the Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online web­site with 25 pro­pos­als received. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, South­west, Res­i­dent Offi­cer In Charge of Con­struc­tion, Camp Pendle­ton, Ocean­side, Calif. is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N62473-11-D-0609).

CAE USA, Inc., Tam­pa, Fla., is being award­ed a $7,405,368 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery, indef­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N61339-03-D-5001) for the upgrade of one MH-60S oper­a­tional flight train­er; pro­cure­ment of an MH-60S Soft­ware Engi­neer­ing Envi­ron­ment Vir­tu­al Devel­op­ment Lab­o­ra­to­ry and upgrade and pre-inte­gra­tion test­ing of an MH-60S Tac­ti­cal Oper­a­tional Flight Train­er. Work will be per­formed in Tam­pa, Fla. (49.8 per­cent); Lex­ing­ton Park, Md. (18.7 per­cent); Salt Lake City, Utah (12.6 per­cent); Albu­querque, N.M. (7.9 per­cent); Mon­tre­al, Cana­da (5.1 per­cent); Read­ing, Pa. (4.7 per­cent); and San Diego, Calif. (1.2 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Feb­ru­ary 2013. Con­tract funds in the amount of $7,013,138 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, MD is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Kenosha Beef Inter­na­tion­al, doing busi­ness as Birch­wood Foods, is being award­ed an indef­i­nite deliv­ery, require­ments type con­tract on Feb. 16, 2011, to pro­vide fresh and frozen beef prod­ucts for resale at 98 com­mis­sary store loca­tions through­out DeCA’s East Region. The esti­mat­ed award amount is $15,838,065.30. Con­trac­tor will deliv­er fresh and frozen beef prod­ucts to the store loca­tions as need­ed. The con­tract is for a 2‑year base peri­od begin­ning March 20, 2011, through March 23, 2013. Three, 1‑year option peri­ods are avail­able. If all three option peri­ods are exer­cised, the con­tract will be com­plet­ed Mar. 19, 2016. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Fif­teen firms were solicit­ed, and three offers were received. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Com­mis­sary Agency, Resale Con­tract­ing Divi­sion, Resale Com­modi­ties Branch, 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, VA 23801–1800.
