Honeywell International, Inc., Areospace, Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded a $43,726,990 firm-fixed-price contract Feb. 14, 2011. The award will provide for 50 T55-GA-714A engines and 30 T55-GA-714A engine fielding kits. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2013. LORD Corporation, Erie, Pa., was awarded a $13,152,000 firm-fixed-price contract Feb. 14, 2011. The award will provide for, at least, 2,400 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Work will be performed in Erie, Penn., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2016. Two bids were solicited with two bids received. DRS Technical Services, Inc., Herndon, Va., was awarded a $12,100,000 firm-fixed-price contract Feb. 14, 2011. The work will be performed in Lincoln, Neb. (31.5 percent); Camden, Ark. (28.8 percent); Tucson, Ariz. (7.2 percent); Joplin, Mo. (7 percent); Carpentersville, Ill (4.9 percent); Rocket Center, W.V. Sygnos, Inc.*, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $15,000,000 indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity job order contract for repair, maintenance, alteration and minor construction of various facilities at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton and Naval Weapons Station, Fallbrook. Work will be performed in Oceanside and Fallbrook, Calif. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an expected completion date of Feb. 2016. CAE USA, Inc., Tampa, Fla., is being awarded a $7,405,368 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract (N61339-03-D-5001) for the upgrade of one MH-60S operational flight trainer; procurement of an MH-60S Software Engineering Environment Virtual Development Laboratory and upgrade and pre-integration testing of an MH-60S Tactical Operational Flight Trainer. DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY
Kenosha Beef International, doing business as Birchwood Foods, is being awarded an indefinite delivery, requirements type contract on Feb. 16, 2011, to provide fresh and frozen beef products for resale at 98 commissary store locations throughout DeCA’s East Region. The estimated award amount is $15,838,065.30. Contractor will deliver fresh and frozen beef products to the store locations as needed. The contract is for a 2‑year base period beginning March 20, 2011, through March 23, 2013. Three, 1‑year option periods are available. If all three option periods are exercised, the contract will be completed Mar. 19, 2016. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifteen firms were solicited, and three offers were received.
