Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, Inc., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $48,934,856 modification for planned supplemental work to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-2107) for the refueling complex overhaul of the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is scheduled to complete by February 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $10,412,014 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00178-09-D-4119) to exercise an option for services to support system design, engineering, integration, installation, training, operational support, and in-service engineering for the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATC&LS) used by the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense activities. Work will be performed in Saint Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in January 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $4,164,789 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
