USA — US Military contracts for FY11

Northrop Grum­man Ship­build­ing, Inc., New­port News, Va., is being award­ed a $48,934,856 mod­i­fi­ca­tion for planned sup­ple­men­tal work to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-09-C-2107) for the refu­el­ing com­plex over­haul of the USS Theodore Roo­sevelt (CVN 71). Work will be per­formed in New­port News, Va., and is sched­uled to com­plete by Feb­ru­ary 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

Sci­ence Appli­ca­tions Inter­na­tion­al Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being award­ed a $10,412,014 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract (N00178-09-D-4119) to exer­cise an option for ser­vices to sup­port sys­tem design, engi­neer­ing, inte­gra­tion, instal­la­tion, train­ing, oper­a­tional sup­port, and in-ser­vice engi­neer­ing for the Air Traf­fic Con­trol and Land­ing Sys­tems (ATC&LS) used by the Navy, Marine Corps, and oth­er Depart­ment of Defense activ­i­ties. Work will be per­formed in Saint Ini­goes, Md., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Jan­u­ary 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $4,164,789 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity.
