General Electric Aviation, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a six-month extension of a performance-based logistics contract in the amount of $58,436,679 for repair, replacement, consumables support, and program support for the F414 engine used on F/A‑18 E/F, and EA-18G aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (96 percent), and Jacksonville, Fla. (4 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2011. Funding is provided by Navy Working Capital Funds and contract funds will not expire before the end of the fiscal year. This contract was not competitively awarded. Lockheed Martin Corp., Maritime Systems and Sensors Tactical Systems, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $47,573,542 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-09-C-0031) for mission system spares required for the initial outfitting of new avionics components for 12 P‑3C aircraft for the government of Taiwan under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn., and is expected to be completed in December 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
SC Engineers, Inc.*, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a maximum $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity architect-engineering contract for mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest area of responsibility (AOR). The work to be performed provides for engineering studies and reports; site investigation reports; preparation of requests for proposals for design-build projects; preparation of fully designed plans and specifications for invitation for bid projects; preparation, submission, verification and review of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design documentation; energy master planning, commissioning, retro-commissioning, cost estimates, evaluations, construction inspection and construction support services. Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities and other government facilities within the NAVFAC Southwest AOR including, but not limited to: California (87 percent); Arizona (5 percent); Nevada (5 percent); Colorado (1 percent); New Mexico (1 percent); and Utah (1 percent). Work is expected to be completed by January 2016. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 24 proposals received. The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $17,555,062 modification to a delivery order placed against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) to provide for supplies and services in support of the follow-on test and evaluation of the F/A‑18E/F and EA-18G aircraft. Work will be performed in at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md. (77 percent); St. Louis, Mo. (21 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (1 percent); and Bethpage, N.Y. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
Quality Enterprises USA, Inc., Chesapeake, Va., is being awarded a maximum amount $13,393,369 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for rigid pavement repair/replacement contract for various types of rigid Portland cement concrete pavement, concrete work, pavement markings, and incidental work related to airfield standards at existing or new locations on and around various government sites in the Hampton Roads area. Task order #0001 is being awarded at $5,000 for the guaranteed minimum portion of the contract. Work on this contract will be performed in Norfolk, Va.; Yorktown, Va.; Virginia Beach, Va.; and Portsmouth, Va. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an expected completion date of December 2012. Contract funds for task order #0001 will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with six offers via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with six proposals received. Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Co., Belleville, Ill., is being awarded a maximum $13,829,661 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for temperate weather combat boots. Other location of performance is in Arkansas. Using services are Army and Air Force. The original proposal was Web-solicited with six responses. This contract is exercising the second option year.
