The Boeing Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Seattle, Wash., was awarded a $10,870,843 contract modification which will replace the IBM mainframe computer systems located at three ground facilities in Japan on behalf of the Japan Air Self Defense Force. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. ESC/HBSK, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-01-D-0016 DO 0050; Modification 0019).
Goodrich Corp., Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems, Chelmsford, Mass., was awarded a $10,843,001 contract which will procure and deploy one DB110 reconnaissance pod system for use on the F‑16 C/D Block 50/52 being purchased by the Egyptian Air Force. This procurement is in support of the Peace Vector VII program per agreement with the Foreign Military Sale customer, Egypt. ASC/WINK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8620-11-C-3003).
