US Military contracts for FY12

AIR FORCE

Boe­ing Satel­lite Sys­tems, Inc., El Segun­do, Calif., is being award­ed a $376,523,860 firm-fixed-price con­tract for the mod­i­fi­ca­tion of the Wide­band Glob­al SATCOM (WGS) Block II fol­low-on con­tract. This con­tract exer­cis­es the option to pro­duce, process, launch, and acti­vate on-orbit Satel­lite Vehi­cle 9 as pre­vi­ous­ly nego­ti­at­ed. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Fort Worth, Texas. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 2013. SMC/PKJW, El Segun­do, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8808-10-C-001/P00020).

Allaint Tech­sys­tems, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $16,100,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract for one used Car­a­van Cess­na 208B air­craft, con­tin­ued con­trac­tor logis­tics sup­port, and spares with asso­ci­at­ed repair and return effort. This sup­ports a For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram and the Lebanon Air Force Car­a­van Pro­gram. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is El Segun­do, Calif. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Nov. 16, 2016. ASC/WINK/FMS, Wright-Pat­ter­son, Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8620-12-C-4005).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

A.M. Gen­er­al, L.L.C. (SPLO), Mishawa­ka, Ind., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the third option year on con­tract SPM7LX-09-D-9001/P00044. The award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, sole-source con­tract with a max­i­mum $360,659,931 for tech­ni­cal, repair parts, com­po­nents and kits, and oper­a­tion sys­tem sup­port­ing the Inte­grat­ed Logis­tics Part­ner­ship Cus­tomer Pay High Mobil­i­ty, Mul­ti-Pur­pose, Wheeled Vehi­cles Pro­gram. Oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance are Penn­syl­va­nia and Texas. Using ser­vice is Army. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Jan. 14, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Land and Mar­itime, Colum­bus, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activity.

NAVY

Neany, Inc.*, Hol­ly­wood, Md., is being award­ed a $11,960,102 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract (N68335-11-C-0261) to pro­vide train­ing of Per­sis­tent Ground Sur­veil­lance Sys­tem oper­a­tors and deploy­ment ser­vices in sup­port of PGSS Phase III B. Work will be per­formed in var­i­ous for­ward deployed oper­at­ing bases locat­ed in Afghanistan (90 per­cent), Hol­ly­wood, Md. (5 per­cent), and Yuma, Ariz. (5 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Feb­ru­ary 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Lake­hurst, N.J., is the con­tract­ing activity.
