ARMY

Cash­man Dredg­ing and Marine Con­tract­ing Co., L.L.C., Quin­cy, Mass., was award­ed a $500,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, mul­ti­ple-award-task-order con­tract between five con­trac­tors. The award will pro­vide for the ser­vices in sup­port of dredg­ing projects. Work loca­tion will be deter­mined with each task order, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 29, 2013. AAI Corp., Hunt Val­ley, Md., was award­ed an $180,900,000 cost-plus-incen­tive-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the sus­tain­ment ser­vices in sup­port of the RQ-7B Shad­ow unmanned air­craft sys­tems. Work will be per­formed in Hunt Val­ley, Md., Afghanistan and Aus­tralia with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Oct. 31, 2012. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-12-C-0011).

Lock­heed Mar­tin, Mis­sion Sys­tem and Sen­sors, Liv­er­pool, N.Y., was award­ed a $166,044,028 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the pro­cure­ment of enhanced AN/TPQ-36 radars, includ­ing spares, test­ing, and train­ing mate­ri­als. Work will be per­formed in Liv­er­pool, N.Y., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2017. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Fort Mon­mouth, N.J., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W15P7T-12-C-C015).

Gen­er­al Dynam­ics, C4 Sys­tems, Inc., San Anto­nio, Texas, was award­ed an $82,935,215 cost-plus-award-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the mul­ti-lev­el secu­ri­ty infor­ma­tion sys­tems wide area net­work ser­vices. Work will be per­formed in Arling­ton, Va., and San Anto­nio, Texas, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2016. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Tri­an­gle Park, N.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W911NF-12-C-0037).

Subsystem’s Tech­nolo­gies, Inc., Arling­ton, Va. (W15QKN-12-D-0028), and Sci­Cast Inter­na­tion­al, Inc., Bech­telsville, Pa. (W15QKN-12-D-0027), were award­ed a $49,500,000 firm-fixed-price indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract between two con­trac­tors. Work loca­tion will be deter­mined with each task order, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 29, 2017. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with eight bids received. (W5J9CQ-12-D-0003), were award­ed a $48,500,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract between three con­trac­tors. The award will pro­vide for the research and devel­op­ment ser­vices for Geospa­tial Research, Inte­gra­tion, Devel­op­ment and Sup­port II. Work will be per­formed in Fair­fax Sta­tion, Va., and Alexan­dria, Va., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 27, 2019. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with nine bids received. Niking Corp., Wahi­awa, Hawaii, was award­ed a $46,780,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the con­struc­tion ser­vices in sup­port of a com­mand and con­trol facil­i­ty at Fort Shafter, Oahu, Hawaii. Work will be per­formed at Fort Shafter, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of April 30, 2014. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with 10 bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, Hon­olu­lu, Hawaii, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W9128A-12-C-0003).

BAE Sys­tems Tech­nol­o­gy Solu­tions & Ser­vices, Inc., Rockville, Md., was award­ed a $32,392,001 cost-plus-award-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the logis­tic, main­te­nance, trans­porta­tion, and sup­ply ser­vices on var­i­ous islands in Hawaii. Work loca­tions are in Hawaii and include Schofield Bar­racks, East Range, Wheel­er Army Air­field, Fort Shafter and Pohaku­loa Train­ing Area. The esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date is Feb. 28, 2018. Siko­rsky Air­craft Corp., Strat­ford, Conn., was award­ed a $27,609,320 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the advanced pro­cure­ment fund­ing ser­vices in sup­port of the Roy­al Aus­tralia Navy MH-60R pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Strat­ford, Conn., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Dec. 13, 2012. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. Vet­er­an Solu­tions, Inc., Annapo­lis, Md., was award­ed a $23,025,834 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the back­ground inves­ti­ga­tion sup­port ser­vices for the Army Per­son­nel Secu­ri­ty Inves­ti­ga­tion Cen­ter of Excel­lence. Work will be per­formed in Aberdeen Prov­ing Ground, Md., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2015. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with 15 bids received. The award will pro­vide for the ser­vices in sup­port of the P‑954 Water­front Devel­op­ment Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Man­a­ma, Bahrain, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Nov. 25, 2014. Eigh­teen bids were solicit­ed, with six bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, Win­ches­ter, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W912ER-12-C-0001).

Nav­is­tar Defense, L.L.C., Lisle, Ill., was award­ed a $21,343,279 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the long wheel rolling chas­sis upgrade with inde­pen­dent sus­pen­sion on the MaxxPro Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed Vehi­cle and trans­porta­tion fix­tures. Work will be per­formed in West Point, Miss., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of May 20, 2012. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, War­ren, Mich., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W56HZV-12-C-0130).

SHAW Envi­ron­men­tal & Infra­struc­ture, Inc., Edge­wood, Md., was award­ed a $17,997,685 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the pub­lic work ser­vices in sup­port of loca­tions in Alas­ka which includes Fort Wain­wright, Don­nel­ly, Yukon, and Black Rapids train­ing areas. Work will be per­formed in Fort Wain­wright, Alas­ka, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2013. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with three bids received. The award will pro­vide for the design and con­struc­tion ser­vices for a two-sto­ry edu­ca­tion cen­ter at Van­den­berg Air Force Base, Calif. The award will pro­vide for the con­trac­tor logis­tics sup­port in sup­port of the Raven small unmanned air­craft sys­tem. Work will be per­formed in Simi Val­ley, Calif., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2015. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with one bid received. (W9128F-12-D-0001), were each award­ed a $9,000,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The awards will pro­vide for the design ser­vices for world­wide loca­tions, petro­le­um, oils and lubri­cants cen­ter of exper­tise. Work will be per­formed in Nor­cross, Ga.; Rich­mond, Va.; and loca­tions to be deter­mined with task orders. There is an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2017. There were 33 bids solicit­ed, with eight bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, Oma­ha, Neb., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

The O.C. Lugo Co., Inc.*, Nyack, N.Y., was award­ed an indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with a max­i­mum $15,300,000 for pro­cure­ment of chlo­rate can­dles and oxy­gen can­dle ignit­ers. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Penn­syl­va­nia. Using ser­vice is Navy. There were two pro­pos­als with two respons­es. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012/2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is March 14, 2014. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM8EF-12-D-0002).

NAVY

ERAPSCO, Colum­bia City, Ind., is being award­ed a $12,950,260 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price, per­for­mance-based con­tract (N00421-11-C-0030) to exer­cise an option for the pro­cure­ment of 17,000 AN/SSQ-53F sonobuoys for the Navy. Work will be per­formed in Colum­bia City, Ind. (53 per­cent), and DeLeon Springs, Fla. (47 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Jan­u­ary 2014. Con­tract funds in the amount of $811,296 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Aeroflex Pow­ell, Inc. (doing busi­ness as Aeroflex Cuper­ti­no), Cuper­ti­no, Calif., is being award­ed a $11,500,000 basic order­ing agree­ment for arbi­trary wave­form gen­er­a­tors (AWG) and AWG com­po­nents in sup­port of expe­di­tionary elec­tron­ic war­fare sys­tems. Work will be per­formed in Cuper­ti­no, Calif., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan­u­ary 2016. The basic order­ing agree­ment was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. Applic­a­ble fis­cal 2012 Oper­a­tion Main­te­nance Navy con­tract funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sur­face War­fare Cen­ter, Crane Divi­sion, Crane, Ind., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00164-12-G-WQ32).
