The con­trac­tor shall main­tain day-to-day oper­a­tions to include all labor, super­vi­sion, mate­ri­als, tools, equip­ment, per­son­nel pro­tec­tive equip­ment, inter­im stor­age, trans­porta­tion, and inci­den­tals. Sci­en­tif­ic Research Corp., Atlanta, Ga., is being award­ed a $16,071,490 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract to pro­vide Com­mand, Con­trol, Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, Com­put­ers, and Intel­li­gence (C4I) sup­port for sys­tems inte­gra­tion engi­neer­ing, plan­ning and imple­men­ta­tion of com­po­nents and net­works for Navy, joint, nation­al and for­eign mil­i­tary C4I sys­tems. This is one of eight mul­ti­ple award con­tracts: all awardees will com­pete for task orders dur­ing the order­ing peri­od. This three-year con­tract includes one, two-year option which, if exer­cised, would bring the poten­tial val­ue of this con­tract to $26,937,596. Work will be per­formed in San Diego, Calif. (75 per­cent), Atlanta, Ga. (10 per­cent), and at gov­ern­ment loca­tions world­wide (15 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Dec. 20, 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via Request for Pro­pos­al N66001-11-R-0077 pub­lished on the Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­site, and the Space and Naval War­fare Sys­tems Cen­ter e‑Commerce Cen­tral web­site, with eight offers received. The Space and Naval War­fare Sys­tems Cen­ter Pacif­ic, San Diego, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N66001-12-D-0014).

Raytheon Co., El Segun­do, Calif., is being award­ed a $12,090,130 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract for con­trac­tor engi­neer­ing tech­ni­cal ser­vices con­trac­tor field ser­vices for the F/A‑18 and EA-18 series air­craft sys­tems, sub­sys­tems, asso­ci­at­ed sys­tems and equip­ment, in sup­port of the Naval Air Tech­ni­cal Data and Engi­neer­ing Ser­vice Com­mand, San Diego, Calif. Engi­neer­ing tech­ni­cal ser­vices to be pro­vid­ed include on and off-site pro­fi­cien­cy train­ing, tech­ni­cal guid­ance, and advice to resolve unusu­al­ly com­plex tech­ni­cal prob­lems. Work will be per­formed at Whid­bey Island, Wash. (40 per­cent); Lemoore, Calif. (20 per­cent); Oceana, Va. (20 per­cent); and Atsu­gi, Japan (20 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2015. Con­tract funds in the amount of $550,000 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured pur­suant to FAR 6.302–1. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Weapons Divi­sion, Chi­na Lake, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N68936-12-D-0007).

Austal Hull 130 Char­ter­ing, L.L.C., Mobile, Ala., is being award­ed an $8,225,850 fixed-price con­tract for the world­wide char­ter of one U.S.-flagged passenger/cargo fer­ry. The fer­ry will sup­port the Marine Corps Third Marine Expe­di­tionary Force. This con­tract includes three six-month option peri­ods, which, if exer­cised, would bring the poten­tial val­ue of this con­tract to $30,321,200. Work will be per­formed at sea in the Far East, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by August 2012; with options exer­cised, by Jan­u­ary 2014. Con­tract funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online and Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­sites, with three offers received. Com­man­der, Mil­i­tary Sealift Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00033-12-C-5504).
