Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $4,011,919,310 fixed-price-incentive (firm target) (FPIF) modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-10-C-0002). This modification provides for the manufacture and delivery of 30 Low Rate Initial Production Lot V F‑35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Aircraft for the U.S. Air Force (21 Conventional Take Off and Landing (CTOL) aircraft); the U.S. Navy (6 Carrier Variant (CV) aircraft) and the U.S. Marine Corps (3 Short Take Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) aircraft). In addition, this modification provides for associated ancillary mission equipment and flight test instrumentation for those aircraft, and flight test instrumentation for the United Kingdom. All effort will be contracted for on a FPIF basis, with the exception of work scope for the incorporation of certain specified concurrency changes that will be contracted for on a cost-sharing/no-fee basis. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (67 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (14 percent); Warton, United Kingdom (9 percent); Orlando, Fla. (4 percent); Nashua, N.H. (3 percent); and Baltimore, Md. (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in January 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Air Force ($2,644,270,340; 65.9 percent); the U.S. Navy ($937,374,286; 23.34 percent); the U.S. Marine Corps ($426,190,013; 10.6 percent); and the United Kingdom ($4,084,671; 0.1 percent). Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $161,267,324 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-6266) for Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A‑RCI) engineering services. This contract is being incrementally funded. The contract provides funding for the design and development of A‑RCI and common acoustics processing for Technology Insertion 08 through Technology Insertion 10 for the United States submarine fleet and for foreign military sales. A‑RCI is a sonar system that integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array, and other ship sensor processing. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla. (60 percent), and Manassas, Va. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $3,253,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. BAE Systems, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $58,238,299 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide Systems Engineering Integration support for the TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Program and the SSGN Attack Weapon System (AWS) Program and Ohio Replacement Program and United Kingdom Successor Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the contract value to $123,319,899. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md. (70 percent); Washington, D.C. (20 percent); St. Mary’s, Ga. (5 percent); Bangor, Wash. (4 percent); and Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, United Kingdom (1 percent), and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2012. With the options exercised, the work will continue through Sept. 30, 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $38,266,075 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $50,666,260 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-5106) to exercise an option item and incrementally fund Aegis Weapon System and Aegis Combat System combat systems engineering, in-country support services, and staging support to fulfill Aegis lifetime support requirements. This contract modification involves Foreign Military Sales to the Republic of Korea (99.8 percent) and Japan (0.2 percent). Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (79.5 percent); Kongsburg, Norway (9.5 percent); Pusan, South Korea (4.0 percent); Chinhae, South Korea (4.0 percent); and Gumi, South Korea (3.0 percent), and is expected to be completed by January 2016. Hinckley, Ohio (N62645-12-D-5009), are each being awarded a firm- fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award task order contract to provide the Naval Health Research Center and other facilities with services in support of experimental design, protocol development, data entry, statistical analysis, scientific literature review for research projects, a variety of diagnostic and experimental tests, and ongoing and future research projects. The maximum not-to-exceed amount for all nine contracts combined is $49,900,000. All nine contractors will have an opportunity to compete and propose on each individual task order under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. All task orders will be in support of research and development efforts being conducted on behalf of the Clinical Investigations Program. BAE Systems Land & Armaments/Tactical Wheeled Vehicles, Sealy, Texas, is being awarded $22,179,375 for delivery order #0011 under previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the procurement of outside the continental United States field service representatives and mechanics to conduct maintenance work on the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle fleet supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Lockheed Martin Corp,. Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $19,781,140 cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-fee contract for Aegis Weapon System baseline development, technical support services, supportability engineering, logistics repair support, spares support, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages support, and associated program management to fulfill requirements of the Norwegian navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. This contract will provide for the next Norwegian Aegis capability baseline, and will provide for operation and maintenance support to a limited in-service support program for the Royal Norwegian Navy Norwegian new frigate Fridtjof Nansen class ships. These efforts also include logistics repair and spare support for Norway-unique Aegis parts, diminishing manufacturing sources/material shortages, configuration management, engineering support, software baseline development/maintenance, and software maintenance management. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $32,894,445. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (97.8 percent), Clearwater, Fla. (1.7 percent), and Baltimore, Md. (0.5 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 2014. BAE Systems, Land and Armaments Div., Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded an $11,658,980 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development activities associated with Integrated Power Systems power load modules design whose applications include pulsed power loads for future surface combatants. Lockheed Martin-Information Systems & Global Services, Colorado, Colo., is being awarded a $53,000,000 cost plus incentive fee contract for North American Aerospace Defense Command’s Cheyenne Mountain Complex Program on-going need to support operations and maintenance for the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment mission (ITW/AA). A contract option was established in December 2009 for operations support and maintenance for the last nine months in fiscal year 2012 (FY12). This action exercises and incrementally funds the FY12 nine month sustainment option, FY12, January 1, 2012 thru 29 September 2012. The location of the performance is Colorado Springs, Colo. The award is a fixed price with economic price adjustment, sole source, prime vendor contract with a maximum $26,154,688 for food and beverage support for DoD and federally funded non-DoD customers in North Carolina.
