Sheikh Abdullah Zainal Alireza Confirmed Keynote Speaker at SIDI 2012

Sheikh Abdul­lah Zainal Alireza, Min­is­ter of Com­merce & Indus­try Con­firmed Keynote Speak­er at SIDI 2012 Sheikh Abdul­lah Zainal Alireza, Min­is­ter of Com­merce & Indus­try is con­firmed to give a Keynote Address at Sau­di Inno­va­tion, Diver­si­fi­ca­tion & Invest­ment (SIDI) Forum & Exhi­bi­tion 2012. Tak­ing place at the Al Faisali­ah Hotel, Riyadh, Sau­di Ara­bia on 25–28 March 2012. The event will focus on ‘indus­try led job cre­ation’, the role of the pri­vate sec­tor and the incen­tives and oppor­tu­ni­ties being imple­ment­ed by the Gov­ern­ment and stake­hold­ers.

The Forum and Exhi­bi­tion is ful­ly sup­port­ed by HH Dr Tur­ki Al Saud, Vice Pres­i­dent for Research Insti­tutes at KACST, as well as Ahmed Abdulka­rim, CEO of the Cadre Eco­nom­ic City who is respon­si­ble for the man­pow­er devel­op­ment that will form the back­bone of the multi­bil­lion dol­lar Eco­nom­ic City devel­op­ments at the heart of the Kingdom’s eco­nom­ic strategy. 

Sau­di Aram­co is also play­ing a key role both in the ‘Entre­pre­neur­ship 101’ Work­shop and with­in the forum main agen­da which will direct­ly pro­mote part­ner­ships and clus­ter development.

SIDI will focus on indus­tri­al devel­op­ment and local con­tent strate­gies that will add real com­mer­cial val­ue to the pri­vate sec­tor and that will diver­si­fy the eco­nom­ic out­look of the King­dom. SIDI looks at how local­i­sa­tion strate­gies direct­ly impact tech­nol­o­gy trans­fer and the devel­op­ment of tal­ent and leadership.
