(N00164-10-G-WS50); Starwin Industries*, Dayton, Ohio (N00164-10-G-WS51); Marion Tool and Die*, West Terre Haute, Ind. (N00164-10-G-WS52); and Energy Dynamics*, Machesney Park, Ill. (N00164-10-G-WS53), were awarded on Feb. 16 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts for aircraft machine shop requirements in support of E/A‑6B and E/A‑18 aircraft, including parts for both aircraft and aircraft test systems. The maximum estimated combined total of all six contracts will not exceed $49,900,000. The contract will have an ordering period of five years and each order will be competed among the six awardees. Work will be performed in Bloomington, Ind.; Springville, Ind.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Dayton, Ohio; West Terre Haute, Ind.; and Machesney Park, Ill. Work is expected to be completed in February 2016. Funds in the amount of $2,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics — Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $19,046,251 firm-fixed-price modification under a previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-4417) for preparation and accomplishment of the fiscal 2011 dry-docking continuous maintenance availability of USS Alexandria (SSN 757). The contractor will perform advance planning, design documentation, engineering, procurement, ship-checks, fabrication and preliminary shipyard work and/or any other work necessary to prepare for the accomplishment of, as well as accomplish all the necessary alterations, repairs, maintenance, modernization, testing and routine work required to return the mission ready submarine to the fleet. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by July 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $19,046,251 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
ARMY
Clark/Hunt, JV, Tampa, Fla., was awarded on Feb. 15 a $29,620,597 firm-fixed-price contract. This award is a modification of an earlier contract, and will provide for the integration of design and bid build contract at 100 percent design production point. Work will be performed in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, with an estimated completion date of May 2013. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with two bids received. GM GDLS Defense Group, LLC, JV, Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded on Feb. 15 a $15,592,043 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for Stryker retrofit level-of-effort man hours, material, other direct costs, and travel. Work will be performed in Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan; Shelby Township, Mich.; Seattle, Wash.; Anniston, Ala.; and Columbus, Ga., with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2012.
